About Us
About
Compass Marine Group
Compass Marine Group is a locally owned marine construction company based in Niceville, Florida. We serve waterfront properties throughout Walton and Okaloosa Counties, including Destin, Freeport, Santa Rosa Beach, and the 30A corridor.
Founded in 2019 by Kimberly Cole, the company was built to provide reliable, high-quality marine construction services with a focus on proper permitting, durable materials, and consistent project management.
Experience You
Can Rely On
Kimberly and her husband Craig bring over 40 years of combined construction experience to every project.
Craig is a registered underground utility contractor with a background in heavy equipment ownership and operation. His technical expertise supports the structural and operational side of each build.
Together, they combine hands-on construction knowledge with practical project oversight to deliver marine structures that perform in real-world conditions.

Built for the
Coastal Lifestyle
Compass Marine Group was founded with a clear understanding of the local waterfront environment.
As residents of the area, the team understands the impact of saltwater exposure, coastal weather, and permitting requirements. They also understand how clients use their waterfront spaces for boating, fishing, and everyday enjoyment.
Every project is built with that lifestyle in mind.
Our Approach
We take a straightforward approach to marine construction.
-
Handle the full process from design through construction
-
Complete all required permitting before work begins
-
Use marine-grade materials designed for long-term durability
-
Maintain clear communication throughout the project
Our goal is to deliver a finished product that is functional, compliant, and built to last.

Local Focus
Our work is strongly rooted in Destin, particularly in areas like Holiday Isle, where we have built a reputation for consistent, high-quality marine construction.
We continue to expand our presence throughout Walton County, including Freeport and the surrounding coastal communities.
